It is now official : we gave a record donation of more than $6000 to GRIS-Montréal, the tournament’s recipient non-profit organization that goes in school and senior homes to demystify homosexuality and bisexuality.
Thanks to all the players and sponsors of Coupe de la Reine 2018, including Babolat, Air Canada, Pharmaprix Van Hoenacker Tremblay, SDC du Village, Éric Béland designer graphique and Via Rail.
Also, a special thanks to Réjean Leclerc and André Bourget who donated more than $250 after their hard work as the official tournament’s massage therapists.
We’ll take this opportunity to reward the champion of the Competitive League.
The first drink will be on us for players who paid their annual membership fee.
As we want to be able to know the number of participants, be kind to answer to this short survey before Monday September 3rd.
Beginning of the indoor tennis session on Saturday september 29th
As announced during the Saturday June 2nd General Meeting, we have signed an agreement with the Tennis Club of l’Ile des Sœurs for the next 3 years.
Indeed, the IDS Club definitely wanted to keep us as players and improved his first offer which, finally, was very close to the one of the Tennis club of Longueil. Then, we decided to go on with the IDS Club. All the details will be given in September, including the different costs and matches formats.
Several changes will occur, so keep your mind opened.
For the time being, please note that we begin the indoor tennis season this coming September 29th at l’Ile des Sœurs with the same usual schedule, say 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
Looking forward to meet you at Lounge l’un et l’autre this coming September 23rd.
